SENIOR MEN FIXTURES
Round 10 of the County Leagues continue this weekend with Spa visiting Direen for the  Division 1 game while our Division 6 team travel south to St Michaels Foilmore. Fixtures details are not available at time of going to press so please keep an eye out on our Social media channels.
The draws took place during the week for the prestigious O Donoghue and O Sullivan Cups. The Blue Riband East Kerry competitions take place later in the year and have thrown up some interesting ties. In the O Sullivan Cup we received a bye into the quarter final where we will meet the winners of the Kilcummin Fossa first round game. While in the O Donoghue Cup we will face Listry with the winners meeting the Clifford's lead Fossa in the quarter finals.

DYLAN CROWLEY TOURNAMENT
The annual Dylan Crowley U11 football tournament took place last Saturday in Gneeveguilla. Always well organised everyone should be extremely proud of their efforts in providing a superb day of sport and fun in Dylans memory. Our U11 Boys played in Division 1 alongside Rathmore, Glenflesk, and Firies. Our opening game was against Firies, and we prevailed in a closely contested game. Up next was a very strong Rathmore side who led from the start and never looked back and topped the group, making it straight to the final. Legion required a result against Glenflesk to progress to the semi-final, and both teams played out a draw . As a result, both Glenflesk and Legion  had to play again in the semi final This time round  in heavy thunder showers, Legion progressed to the final where Rathmore was waiting . Both teams, to their credit, served up a great game of football with Rathmore just shading it in the end and winning the Division 1 Final.
Congratulations to Rathmore on a well-deserved victory but our lads can be very pleased with their days work. We would like to extend our gratitude to Gneeveguilla GAA Club for the invite and big kudos to organisers Sean o Keeffe and Sean O Sulllivan for a fantastic day.
Earlier in the start of a busy week, the U11 Go Games continued in  Milltown - Castlemaine  with three of our teams played out  very entertaining matches .Over twenty five boys lined out and put in great performances with lots of players from several positions getting in on the scores. Keel is the final destination for the Go Games with the lads taking a short well earned break afterwards.

MOTHERS AND OTHERS
Our Mothers and Others were in Mallow last Saturday to take part in a superbly run blitz with over 70 teams taking part. They battled through the thunderstorms and heavy showers that prevailed on the day and went through the entire day unbeaten.  And in keeping with the spirit of the Mothers and Others ethos they thoroughly enjoyed the social side of the event. The last sighting of them was somewhere in the vicinity of Mallow, and it was a long road home with great fun every bit of the way.

LADIES FOOTBALL UPDATE
The Legion U-12 Green team travelled on Beaufort  in the opening match of their U-12 County League. In muggy conditions the girls put in a solid performance against a good Beaufort side. Although not enough to turn the Beaufort tide, from a Legion perspective there were good individual performances with some nice scores taken.
Our Legion U-12 Girls White team took on the Laune Rangers U-12 Girls (again!) last Thursday at home in their opening match of the County League and the saying that 'goals win matches' rang true. The two teams were level after the first quarter with both defences being in very mean mood. Points were in short and equal supply for both sides over the match period but goals in the end did the damage. Over the quarters there were some good individual performances, but some work on the training ground on linking play is required. Keep the effort levels up and the rewards will come.

KERRY
A good week for all Kerry teams with the Minor Boys and both Senior Ladies and Mens teams having progressive wins. The Minors face Monaghan in the All Ireland semi final this weekend coming while both Senior teams are back in action on the first weekend in July.
