EAST KERRY GAA ALL STARS
Congratulations to James O Donoghue and Cian Gammell, who by virtue of their performances in the blue riband competition of the District board, the O Donoghue Cup, both earned an East Kerry All Star Award.

KERRY TEAMS
A clean sweep of wins for the three Kerry teams all in National League duty over the weekend. The Kerry Ladies were pushed all the way by Donegal in Austin Stack Park, the Kerry hurlers opened their Allianz League Division 2A campaign with an easy win over Derry while the Kerry footballers accounted for Monaghan in Fitzgerald Stadium. Keri Ann Hanrahan, Mark Heffernan and Cian Gammell continue to be part of these respective panels. Both Ladies and Mens teams have a weekend off but the hurlers are on home soil this Sunday February 12th, in Austin Stack Park. Throw in is 2pm. The U20 pre-season competition, the John Kerins Cup, will also be commencing at the weekend with Will Shine and Darragh Fleming part of the panel. Not forgetting Brian Kelly who is the teams goalkeeping coach. They face Kildare in Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday February 11th at 2pm.

ST BRENDANS COLLEGE
The famed Killarney football nursery are once again back in familiar territory, a Corn Ui Mhuiri final, where they will face Rochestown College. The game is fixed for Mallow this Saturday February 11th at 1pm in the superb Mallow GAA complex. Brian O Sullivan and Tom Benson are part of the team's extended panel and we wish "The Sem" the very best of luck in the final.

EAST KERRY SUPERLEAGUE
We have a home game this weekend , Firies being the visitors to Direen in our first game in the East Kerry Superleague. It's a 12 noon throw-in and in subsequent weekends we'll be facing Kilcummin, Gneeveguilla and Kenmare. The County League is pencilled in for a March 19th start.

COUNTY MINOR LEAGUE
The County Minor Leagues commence on Saturday February 18th with the intention of the club fielding two teams , one in Division 1 and the other in a Division solely for B teams. A busy schedule , the competition will run for five consecutive Saturdays with the top team at the end facing the fourth placed team in the semi final alongside the second and third place teams. We'll be keeping on all fixtures and results as time goes by and best of luck to teams and management.

CLUBZAP
The winter has seen the Club examine better ways to communicate with its membership. Outside of the social media channels of Facebook, Instagram andTwitter and the usual weekly written notes it is imperative to keep all our players, parents, mentors and officials in touch with club affairs. To this end we have enlisted the app Clubzap to aid us with our communications. Downloadable through the relevant app store it is useful for playing Club lotto, paying membership, sharing results and fixtures and directly messaging parents and players of the various age groups. We have already started to roll it out to our Juvenile teams, both boys and girls, and it is envisaged that it will be the tool used to send out messages. Keep an eye out on our social media to see the progress of the roll out and special mention must go to Juvenile Committee Chairman Donal O Leary for his unstinting work during the winter months both sourcing and bringing the initiative to the Club Executive.
