SENIOR MEN
Our Senior Mens picked up.another win in Division 1 of the County League with a Sunday afternoon win  over Ballymac. A poor start saw the team trail by 6 points  in the early stages but. a good recovery saw them  lead at half time by the bare minimum,  0-13 to 1-9. The team exchanged scores throughout the second half and in the end we emerged with a good 2 point win. We currently sit third in the table going into the last round which is at home to Rathmore, which is slated for the weekend of July 5th/6th. Full time Ballymac 2-14 Killarney Legion 0-22.

U12 BOYS
The final games for our U12 boys in the Kerry Go Games series took place in Ballyduff on Tuesday evening . Two teams took on their counterparts where there was a stiff breeze, ensuring both matches would be games of two halves .
Playing into the breeze in the first half, the green team struggled to get to grips with the game early on and, in the second half, found their rhythm to deliver a better performance . As the game came to a close, Ballyduff shaded it on the scoreline, but the boys finished strongly to give a good account for themselves . The black team also played into the breeze in the first half and struggled to get to grips with the opposition from the throw-in and were down a few scores before we registered on the scoreboard . As the half wore on, we got more into the game, and a great contest was being played out. With the wind to our backs in the second half, the boys made their passes stick and started taking some excellent scores .Ballyduff did not give up and made the boys play right till the end to just shade it ..
Thanks to Ballyduff for hosting to their referees and the sporting manner both games were played in . Best of luck to Ballyduff in the divisional leagues .Up next for our boys is the U12 East Kerry .

U16 BOYS
Our U16 Boys Team travelled to Kilcummin to play the locals in Round 1 of the County League Division 1 in a repeat of last month's Division 1 East Kerry Final. Kilcummin started the better and struck for a goal from the throw-in. The boys responded with a fine goal of their own, but Kilcummin were generally the better team in the first half and let by 2 at the break 3-6 to 2-7. With the wind at their back, Kilcummin built out their lead to 6 points midway through the second half. The boys battled away throughout but were unable to bridge the gap, and Kilcummin prevailed by 3 points Well done to Kilcummin on a deserved win, and best of luck to their U15 team in Feile this weekend. Our boys now turn their attention to next weeks game against Laune Rangers at home . Full time Kilcummin 3-13 Killarney Legion 3-10

U12 GIRLS
Churchill was the venue for our Under 12 girls' Go Game on Wednesday evening. In glorious weather conditions in Tralee Bay, the girls played against Churchill in two ten  a side games. They played really well against a well coached and good home side . Thanks to the host club for having us and the referees for excellent officiating.

U14 GIRLS
Both our U14 teams had semi final this week but unfortunately came out the wrong side of the result in each of the games. The Division 2 came up against the powerhouse that is Southern Gaels on Monday while on Thirsday the second team had a good battle with Laune Rangers.  The season continues though with the East Kerry competitions and the U13 Club Championship all down for decision.
