U11 BOYS
Pride of place this week goes  to our U11 Boys who were crowned Dylan Crowley Champions 2025 after a superb day of football in Gneeveguilla on Saturday. The boys played five games in total and went undefeated, showcasing their talent and team spirit throughout. They saved their best for last in a dramatic final against Kilcummin. After conceding three early goals, they found themselves in serious trouble approaching halftime. But showing incredible resilience, they kicked three late points to go in just four points down at the break. The second half saw the boys come out with real hunger. They dominated the closing stages, kicking six unanswered points to complete a memorable comeback and secure the title. This is the first time Legion has lifted the Dylan Crowley Cup since 2017, and this group of lads proved themselves fantastic ambassadors for our club. We’re looking forward to watching their journey continue in the green and white.
A huge thank you to Gneeveguilla for hosting a brilliant tournament – well organised and played in great spirit all round.

A well taken penalty by Daire Murphy approaching half time saw us lead 1-8 to 0-4 at the interval. The second half was an even affair with both sides trading scores. In the end we ran out 7 point winners. Thanks to Tousust for a good sporting game. Well done to all the players. Great to see so many young players gaining experience and playing so well in this team. The final round is against Rathmore B in two weeks time. Final.Score Killarney Legion 1-15 Tuosist 0-11.

U8 BOYS
A busy weekend for our U8 Boys who travelled to Firies on Monday to play their counterparts there and then welcomed Fossa to Direen on Saturday morning. The boys dod great amd are showing a marked improvement week on week.

U14 GIRLS
It proved to be  a tough day at the office for our U14 girls Green team as they faced Southern Gaels in a Division 2 semi final on Sunday afternoon. From the first whistle, the opposition showed sharpness, discipline and intensity that proved difficult to match. Despite a committed effort from our squad, we struggled to gain control in key areas of the pitch and found ourselves under sustained pressure. The opposition capitalized on their chances well, showing clinical finishing and solid defensive organization throughout.
There were still positives to take: the team battled until the final whistle, showed heart, and never gave up. Matches like this are tough but valuable, offering important lessons as we continue to grow and improve together.
We regroup, refocus, and look forward to the U13 and  East Kerry competitions.
