EAST KERRY SUPERLEAGUE
The East Kerry Superleague commenced during the week with Nigel Shevlins charges having two games, one at home and one away. Spa were the visitors to Direen last Tuesday night and despite running up a big lead our senior men reeled them in for a well earned share of the spoils , 2-15 to 1-18. On Sunday Listry was the destination and with both sides now getting used to the new rules another high scoring encounter ensued. When the final count was in Listry were just ahead, 1-20 to 2-16. These games have afforded the management to get plenty playing time into the panel and will serve them well with the County League commencing on St Patricks weekend. Firies are our next opponent in Round 3 , with all roads leading to Pairc Eamonn in Farranfore.
