O DONOGHUE CUP
Our Senior Men made their exit from the O Donoghue Cup at the quarter final stage after a see-saw struggle in Direen on Saturday last. A goal midway through the first half by Eoghan O Sullivan was the difference between the sides at half time, 1-5 to 0-5 , Ryan O Grady, Finbarr Murphy and David O'Sullivan being the point scorers.A flurry of points at the start of the second half saw us six points clear, 1-8 to 0-5, but Glenflesk hit 2-2 without reply in a purple patch to turn the game on its head. The next ten minutes were evenly matched with both sides hitting four points apiece. But Glenflesk finished much the stronger to run out five point winners, 2-16 to 1-14.
