SENIOR LADIES
Our senior ladies were back in action on Monday night after their recent Donal Curtin success, when they hosted Glenflesk in Round 1 of the Corrob Oil Senior Club County League. Due to holidays and unavailability, Glenflesk visited with a young team and acquitted themselves well on the night. Our ladies proved too strong in the end to take the points in this opening round fixture. Round 2 next week sees us at home again Annauscaul / Castlegregory on Monday 22nd July.

The girls are continually developing their skills and all their practise is reallly telling ..Up next we are away to Rathmore date and times TBC..
U12 GIRLS
Our U12 girls were delighted to have our senior ladies' goalkeeper Amy Walshe at training on last Tuesday evening, and they gained great knowledge from her . They are really looking forward to having her up at training again while Amy also presented Robyn with her medal from last year.
Kerry Minor and Legion senior player Andrea Murphy also came and spoke to the girls about her own successes with the club and county. She gave them great advice and tips. Andrea is going to come and have a skills session with the girls. They are two excellent role models for the girls within the club.
Later in the week the girls headed to Currans amongst eleven other clubs from the county to the Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence . They took part in a blitz , part of a day of celebration, marking 50years of Ladies Gaelic football. Two teams took part and it goes to show that ladies football is going from strength to strength.
