DYLAN CROWLEY TOURNAMENT
The Dylan Crowley tournament was held in Gneeveguilla on Saturday last. We played in Division one alongside Firies Rathmore and Kilcummin. Having beaten Rathmore and Firies in the group stage , we lost our last final game to Kilcummin . The draw for the semi-final saw us up against Firies once again . Having won this, we progressed to the final. Rathmore provided the opposition in the final and was victorious on the day. Unfortunately for some of our boys, this was their second year losing the Division 1 final to the same opposition, and Rathmore were worthy winners on the day . Great credit is due to the organisers who, again, this year pull out a great tournament despite the weather. The tournament is a great testament to the memory of Dylan Crowley , his family and the hard working personal who provide a super day for all the young footballers to show their skill on what is their annual football highlight.
