ST PATRICKS DAY PARADE
A big bualadh bos for everyone involved with the club in this years St. Patrick's Day parade. It was a brilliant effort from all, from children to the adults . Well done to everyone who helped out, to the parents, organisers and the children for the huge effort put into the float.
MEMBERS MEETING
A members meeting will be held on Thursday March 21st in the Clubhouse. It will be an opportunity for any member to discuss and keep upto date on all club affairs.
KERRY LADIES
A successful weekend for both Kerry Ladies teams. The Minors, featuring Andrea Murphy in the panel, had a 3-16 to 0-10 win over Waterford while the Seniors took a step closer to the National League final easily getting the better of Meath in Ashbourne. Keri-Ann Hanrahan is of course member of the panel.
MAIREAD O DONOGHUE
Currently living in Australia, Mairead hasn't let her GAA skills go, lining out with Michael Cusacks. They had a successful weekend recently capturing the Gosburn Tournament. The daughter of Donal and Linda O Donoghue, she was not the sole Kerry representative in the winning side. Danielle O Sullivan and Deirdre O'Shea flew the Kingdom flag proudly at its conclusion.
CHELTENHAM FANTASY COMPETITION
Our Senior Men's team once again ran a very successful competition based around the famous Racing festival in Cheltenham. Held over the four days , entrants were invited to pick their winners on the big four races each day and the finish was as close as any race . Dan Foran came with a wet sail on the last day to pip Brian O Sullivan by a short head with Colm O'Mahony just grabbing third by a fraction from Bridget McGuire. Well done to Peter McCarthy and David O Sullivan, who looked after all the administrative duties over the four days and helped put a few Bob in the kitty.
STEPHEN BROSNAN
The Club extends its best wishes to former player Stephen Brosnan as he battles illness. Stephen is currently involved with St Josephs Club in Wexford and they are busily organising fundraising events for his treatment. You can contribute to their efforts at the following link
