O DONOGHUE CUP FINAL
Our Senior Men fell agonisingly short in last Sunday's O'Donoghue Cup Final against our neighbours Dr Crokes. Played in damp and breezy conditions we made a good start with Ryan O'Grady and Finbarr Murphy particularly accurate , helping us in a 0-4 to 0-1 lead after 15 minutes. The Crokes replied with the next three scores spread over a ten minute period to draw level. Ryan O'Grady was again on target as the half time break drew closer. A free taken by Finbarr Murphy somehow eluded the Crokes defence and ended in the net to give us a 1-5 to 0-4 halftime advantage. With the conditions in their favour the Crokes made a strong start to the second half but a Finbarr Murphy point made it 1-6 to 0-7. Eoghan O Sullivan twice responded to further Crokes points and the score was 1-8 to 0-9 heading into the final furlong. Unfortunately the Crokes finished the stronger, hitting the final three points to carry the day.
Final Score Killarney Legion 1-8 Dr Crokes 0-12.

WILLIAM SHINE
Congrats to William Shine who has been named as the U20 Munster Player of the Year for 2023, recognition for his 10 points haul against Clare and his Man of the Match performance against Cork in the Munster Final.

JP MCMANUS
A big thank you to JP McManus for his incredibly generous gesture of donating 1 million euro to every County Board in Ireland. This is of course one condition, that its divided equally amongst every GAA, LGFA and Camogie club in that county. In short it amounts to just over 10,000 Euro for every club in the county.

SEASON GREETINGS
Chairman David Randles and the Club Executive would like to wish all our members and supporters a very happy festive season.
