U16 GIRLS
Our U16 ladies team finished up their season on Sunday morning by winning an East Kerry Division 2 title when they beat MKL Gaels in Direen. On a lovely, sunny morning, both teams started brightly, and a ding dong battle commenced. Legion led at half time on a score of 4-04 to 3-04. Short a number of regulars for varying reasons, they didn’t let it take its toll as they continued to take the game to MKL. To the oppositions credit, they battled hard throughout and put in a stellar effort. This comes as no surprise as both teams played out a County League final earlier in the season where MKL came out on top. Today, though, it was Legions turn. Valiant defending, strong running and well taken scores paved the way for a hard earned win. Final score Legion 4-09 MKL 3-06. Thanks to MKL for another great sporting game of football and to John Purcell for officiating.

U11 BOYS
The final day of football for our U11 Boys in 2023 was taking part in the John Lynch Memorial tournament today in Austin Stacks .We had two teams competing against St. Finbarrs of cork ,Ardfert , and Listowel in the group stages , and the boys were excellent in all games, which meant we played John mitchels in the afternoon. Again, our boys were excellent again and really improved the more football they played . Our 2 team captains on the day Robbie Fennelly and Andrew O Sullivan lead both team from the front and set the tempo for their team mates to follow and that they did with distinction .Huge thanks on the day to all the parents and coaches Eamonn Maguire, Kieran O Shea , Donal O Donoghue, and John Keane .Massive thanks to our hosts, Austin Stacks, and especially the Lynch family, who yet again provided a great tournament , great pitches , good weather, and superb fun for all the kids from all over Ireland .
U15 BOYS
Unfortunately our 15 boys season came to an end on Wednesday evening last. Playing with the aid of a stiff breeze in the first half a decent advantage was built up. The team had numerous chances in the second half to close out the game but failed to take advantage. That allowed Kilcummin to finish stronger to snatch the win. Well done to all the boys this evening and to all the U15s for a great effort all year. Best of luck to Kilcummin in the final and thanks to Mike Brosnan for refereeing. Final score Killarney Legion 0-9 Kilcummin 1-7.
U17 BOYS
The U17 Boys qualified for the East Kerry Division 2 Final after a thrilling 5-10 to 2-18 win away to a Cordal /Scartaglen combination.
